The bed and how it behaves
Shahabad Yellow is the same fine-grained Kalaburagi limestone as the grey bed, in a warm golden buff. Its defining behaviour is the shift when wet: the colour deepens noticeably, so a rain-soaked terrace reads much richer than the dry sample a client was shown in a showroom.
That makes it a character stone rather than a neutral background. It suits courtyards, garden terraces and feature interior floors where the warmth is wanted, and it pairs well with the grey bed for banding or borders.
Available riven and honed. Technical figures below are tested against the same BS EN suite as the rest of the range and are consistent with the grey bed, as expected from the same formation.
