The bed and how it behaves
Shahabad Cream is a pale off-white bed of the same fine-grained Kalaburagi limestone. It is specified almost entirely for interiors: honed for domestic and commercial floors, polished where a reflective surface is wanted.
Being pale, it shows soiling and staining more readily than the grey bed, so sealing and maintenance expectations should be set with the client at specification stage rather than after handover.
External use is possible in a riven finish subject to project-specific slip and drainage design; frost and absorption figures are set out below alongside the rest of the range.
