Pre-crating inspection

Crating and marking
Crates built and marked with contents against the packing list.

Loading and documents
Container stuffing and commercial and shipping documents finalised.

Sailing and delivery
Ocean transit to the nominated UK port, customs clearance, and onward delivery.

Planning a programme
Minimum order and lead time
Our practical minimum order is One 20ft container (approx. 400–450 m², mixed sizes and finishes by agreement). We load from the Port of Chennai. Lead time from confirmed order to delivered container is typically 8–10 weeks: 3–4 weeks for cutting and finishing, 3–5 days inland haulage to Chennai, 28–32 days ocean freight to the UK, and 3–5 working days UK clearance to delivery, depending on stone, finish and quantity.
