External paving
Riven and sawn Shahabad limestone for external paving and terraces, tested for slip and frost resistance to BS EN standards.

Specification
External paving is the natural first use for Shahabad limestone in the UK — it is what the stone has been laid as across India for generations, quarried and split along its own bedding for a riven face.
We supply riven for a natural cleft surface and sawn for a flatter, more formal lay. Fixed calliper and joint width matter more to an installer than any other single figure, and we will confirm both against your drawing before quoting.
Slip, frost and absorption testing has been carried out against BS EN 12371, BS EN 13755 and EN 16165 Annex C across the range; the pendulum test values for riven paving comfortably exceed the recommended minimum for external pedestrian areas.
